Sheridan Greer

Teaching Artist

Untitled design (1).JPG

Sheridan is a passionate vocal instructor who loves sharing the joy of singing with others! She first discovered her love of singing in the 9th grade when she joined choir, and the rest is history. Sheridan received her bachelor's degree in music and state teaching certificate from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2021. While completing her undergraduate studies, she began teaching at Musicology School of Music, where she worked with students of all ages and skill levels in both voice and piano for over 4 years.

Her passion for music extends well beyond the studio. Sheridan collaborates with and has taught choir and general music classes at different organizations such as Around the Curtain Children’s Theatre, local homeschool groups, private schools, and churches. She also regularly collaborates with local musicians to continue her own growth. Sheridan is currently a member of local choral ensemble Valley Consort, who is committed to sharing the excellence and diversity of choral music. Dedicated to giving her students the best possible support, she regularly takes continuing education courses to learn the latest research in healthy vocal practices.

At the heart of Sheridan’s teaching is a belief in creating a positive, encouraging space where students feel safe to explore, grow, and express themselves through music. She thoughtfully tailors each lesson to the individual, gently nurturing their musical talents while helping them grow in confidence. Above all, Sheridan believes that everyone has a voice worth discovering—and with a little guidance and dedication, anyone can learn to sing.
